Write a 3,600–4,200-word research-based paper in which you construct an argument to
demonstrate the truthfulness of Christianity against opposing worldviews. To do this in the
context of this course on evil, write your paper defending the traditional doctrine that God has an
exulted character, worthy of worship and adoration (in spite of the evil that God permits in the
world)—that God is truly a being who is all-powerful, all-knowing and all-good. As a central
feature of your paper, construct, and then defend, an argument whose conclusion is that despite
some particular kind or some specific instance of evil, God’s good character can be maintained.
(Note here: in your argument, do not tackle every type and kind of evil there is; rather, narrow
your focus to choose one particular among these: focus on natural evil; or, moral evil; or, the
amount of evil; or, the intensity of evil; or, the apparent gratuitous nature of specific evils. The
the argument you construct and defend should reflect this narrowing process.
