The dietary analysis project is worth 20% of your final grade. The breakdown is as follows,
as you will need to submit components with your project:
1. Dietary analysis 3-day food list & nutrient data printout
You will be required to log all nutrients ingested for 3 days (2 weekdays and
weekend) into a diet analysis program (https://happyforks.com/ is free to use)
Make sure to include specific quantities and include all fluids, condiments and
supplements ingested. Your assignment should include the items listed below. To
submit your assignment, you will need to cut and paste the reports into a Word or
PDF document and submit it in Blackboard under the “Diet Analysis Assignment”
tab. You are printing/saving the 3 days of food lists and the “average” nutrient
report.
a) The food list for the 3 days of data collected (1 combined printout)
Click “Diary & Trends” > click “Diary” tab > Select date range to include all 3
of vour reported days (click “apply”) > This lists ALL the days in one page
(PRINT/SAVE this)
b) The Report analysis bar graphs for the average of all 3 days (1 combined report)
Click “Reports” tab on the Diary & Trends page > This should contain multiple
days from the “diary” selection > PRINT/SAVE this full report of your nutrient
intake average across the 3 days of food record
